Tullydermot Falls is a spectacular waterfall located in the Cuilcaigh Mountains near Swanlinbar. The Falls occur in the upper reaches of the Claddagh River, which is a tributary of the river Erne which flows through Belturbet town. There are a series of waterfalls and rapids here as the river works its way down through the mountains towards Swanlinbar. For the more adventurous, why not walk up along the river and view several other falls and rapids. The water is very shallow but is teeming with small brown trout for the avid angler. When in the parking lot if you look across the road you will see an old red barn. An unmaintained trail runs from here and provides the easiest access for hillwalking enthusiasts.
